Acquisition dates and private notes on your puzzles

Your collection tells a story: that puzzle you found at a flea market, the one you got for Christmas, the one you swapped with a fellow enthusiast. You can now keep track of all of it, puzzle by puzzle.

The acquisition date

This suggestion came straight from a Puzzlover, and she was right: the date a puzzle joins your collection isn't the same as the date you assemble it. A new "Acquired on" field lets you record it, alongside the completion dates that already existed.

Acquisition details, for all your puzzles

Until now, how you got a puzzle (purchase, swap, gift), where you got it and the price you paid could only be filled in on a finished puzzle. That was a shame: it's precisely when a puzzle joins your to-do pile that you have this information in mind.

These fields are now available whatever the status: to do, in progress or finished. For to-do and in-progress puzzles, they stay tucked away behind an "Add details" button, so quick adds stay quick.

Private notes, truly private

Every build now has a "Private notes" field: the real price you paid, a replacement piece you ordered, an anecdote, the state of the box... Write whatever you like, only you can read it. Nothing ever shows up on your public profile or on the build's page for visitors.

For now, you'll find this information by editing your build. We're working on collection management to display it directly on your own account: acquisition date, price, notes, your whole logbook at a glance (and still visible to you alone). Stay tuned here!
