Photo uploads: smoother, faster, more reliable
We've completely reworked how you upload photos of your finished jigsaw builds. Instant upload, a visible progress bar, and automatic retries mean uploads no longer stall, fixing one of the most-reported pain points.

In your early feedback, one pain point came up often: uploading photos of your builds was slow and unclear. Several seconds during which nothing seemed to happen, sometimes with a silent failure at the end.
That wasn't acceptable, so we rebuilt it.
What changes in practice
- Instant upload as soon as you select the photo (no more waiting when you confirm).
- Progress bar visible for each image, with a real percentage.
- Automatic retries on a network failure (up to 3 attempts before alerting you).
- Instant previews during upload so you can visually check what you're sharing.
- Clear error messages if something really is wrong (format, size, connection).
Why it was slow
Two main causes:
- Everything went out at once on confirm. The moment you clicked "Publish", all the photos uploaded at the same time. The button stayed grayed out with no clear feedback for several seconds.
- No automatic resizing. Photos from modern phones easily weigh several megabytes each. Without optimization, every upload meant a lot of data to transfer.
Both are fixed. Uploads now happen in parallel while you fill in the form, which makes the whole thing near-seamless when you click "Publish".
