A round of small touches, everywhere
Snappier search, a signup that guides you, cleaner login screens: a wave of quiet improvements that make the whole site nicer to use.

No big feature this week, but a wave of small touches that, put together, change how the site feels every day.
- The second wave of search work is here, as promised. After meaning-based search this summer, we went after speed: some searches are now up to 20 times faster, repeating a query is instant, and when search digs into the meaning of your request, it clearly shows you instead of leaving you waiting.
- Signup finally guides you. The "Create my account" button tells you exactly what's missing instead of staying silent, and your city selects itself once you've typed it in full.
- Login and signup pages declutter. No more distractions around these screens: the essentials, nothing else, with the language switcher tucked in the top right.
- On mobile, the "Log in" tab finally says its name when you're signed out. No more guessing.
- The language suggestion knows when to leave. Offered once, it fades away on its own instead of camping on your screen.
- And details everywhere: the add form breathes more, the community map is perfectly centered, and a friendly note explains why the barcode on your boxes helps us so much.
As always, most of these improvements come from your feedback and from our ambassadors. Keep telling us what gets in your way: that's how the site gets better.
