The Ambassador program is here

Since launch, some members have stood out. Not by chance: they share their builds with care, fix puzzle pages when they spot a typo, leave a kind word under other people's work, and suggest ideas to help the site evolve. They help the community grow.

We wanted to say thank you. Not with an automated email, but with something you can see.

The Ambassador program

From today, some members can receive Ambassador status. In practice, that means:

• A visible badge on their avatar everywhere on the site (an orange ring and a small white shield)
• A dedicated presence on the new /ambassadors page, with their bio and a link to their profile
• A discreet mention in the lists of builds, the marketplace, comments: they're seen, and you know who they are

How you become one

Two possible paths.

Either you write to us. If you'd like to get a little more involved in the site (helping maintain the catalog, lending a hand on incomplete puzzle pages, discussing new features), let us know via the chat in the bottom right of the site. We take a look, we chat, and if the interest is mutual, we offer you the status.

Or we spot you. Over time, watching the most engaged members day to day, we may notice someone and offer them the status directly. That's rarer, but it happens.

It's deliberately subjective: we look at the spirit, not the statistics.

What it brings

For Ambassadors: some well-earned visibility, the chance to get a little more involved in the site at their own pace, and the team's attentive ear on what's coming.

For the site: a better-maintained catalog, ideas that circulate, a community that sees we recognize what it brings.

For other members: a site that improves day by day thanks to people we know and trust.

We're taking it at our own pace. Not to create competition, but so the status keeps its meaning.

The program will evolve. For now, we're leaving it here, and we'll learn with our first Ambassadors what truly makes sense.

What else Ambassadors can do

Beyond the badge, they gain a new superpower: helping to moderate the catalog.

In practice, they can:

• Enrich incomplete puzzle pages (title, brand, piece count, official image...)
• Merge duplicates when a puzzle has been created twice under two different names
• Fix incorrect barcodes (EANs)

It's valuable. The Puzzlovers catalog holds 29,000 puzzles, and every day new ones are created by members as they add a build. Without moderation, we quickly drift into chaos. With a team we trust, the catalog stays clean.

And beyond the catalog, we consult them regularly when we prepare new features. Their view of what works (and what's missing) helps us steer what's to come.

For you

If you're not an Ambassador, nothing changes for you. You keep using the site exactly as before. The only difference: you'll sometimes see this badge on certain profiles, and you'll know what it means.

If an Ambassador corrects the page of a puzzle you created, don't take it the wrong way: they're just improving your data. And every change is recorded in a log. If something seems off, write to us.

Our first Ambassador

The program starts today with a single name. That's on purpose: we're taking the time to do things well, rather than handing out badges by the dozen.
