Send photos in your messages

Jigsaw puzzles are a visual hobby. You want to show where you're at, share the piece you've finally found, or prove the real condition of a box you're selling. Until now, messaging stayed text-only. Not anymore: you can now send your photos in a conversation, and reply directly to a specific message.

Sending your photos

You can now attach photos to your messages, up to ten at a time.

• Tap the photo icon, take a photo on the spot or pick some from your gallery.
• On desktop, you can also drag and drop your images or paste them directly.

When you send several photos, they appear in a neat mosaic in the bubble, and a tap opens the full-screen viewer to browse, zoom and save them.

Your photos are optimized automatically before sending: they go out fast and stay crisp, even from a phone.

Replying to a specific message

When several topics stack up in a discussion, you end up losing track of what the other person is replying to. That's fixed.

• On mobile, swipe a message to the right to reply to it.
• On desktop, hover over the message and choose "Reply".

Your reply then shows the original message quoted just above. A tap on the quote takes you straight back to the message in question, highlighted long enough to spot it. No more "what were you talking about again?"

It's especially handy on the Marketplace: you can answer a specific question without breaking the flow of the conversation.

A few ideas for using it

• Show your progress on a puzzle to another Puzzlover.
• Share the missing pieces you've found again.
• For a sale, send the real condition of the box and pieces before the buyer decides.

Your conversations just went full color. Open a discussion and give it a try: drop in a photo, reply to a message, and see how much simpler everything becomes.
